KynxMachines is built on Hyper-V, which Microsoft only ships with Windows Pro, Enterprise and Education.
No. Every VM has its own virtual input devices. Your real mouse only goes into the VM when you click into the live view.
With one click, KynxMachines routes all traffic of a VM through Tor (free, country selectable), through your Proton VPN or other WireGuard/OpenVPN profile, or through a proxy. If the connection drops, the VM has no internet instead of using your real IP. Other VMs and your PC are not affected.
No, apart from the technically necessary update check against kynxmachines.de. There are no accounts, no tracking and no telemetry. Details are in the privacy policy.
If you just close the window, they keep running – KynxMachines stays in the notification area of the taskbar. When you quit, KynxMachines asks whether the VMs should be shut down cleanly, powered off right away or kept running.
